“I, um, have s-something for you,” Peeta said quietly as everyone was getting up to leave.
“You do?” I asked. He just nodded, reaching over the arm of the couch to pick up a roll of paper tied closed with a piece of string.
“I j-just didn’t, um—didn’t want to g-give it to you in front of everyone,” he said, his cheeks flushing as he handed it to me. I glanced back to see everyone else preoccupied with leaving, and turned back to him before untying the string. I carefully unrolled the paper to find a drawing of the meadow, the tree we sat under when we walked out there easily recognizable on one side. I just stared at it for a moment, realizing that the times I’d caught him with his sketchbook in his lap, when he’d hastily closed it and tossed it aside, he’d been practicing for this. “D-do you like it?”
“Peeta,” I smiled, looking up at him. “I love it.”

No school means more time to draw and to practice photoshop. I needed a subject and I asked alonglineofbread to suggest me one, because she always draws beautiful things for the fandom . Finish !!

Catching Fire: An Uneasy Alliance. April 2013. Pen & Ink, Photoshop CS6
Spoilers abound for people who haven’t read the second book in “The Hunger Games” trilogy/ don’t know the plot.
“We all look over at Wiress, who’s circling around, coated in dried blood, and murmuring, ‘Tick, tock. Tick, tock.’
‘Yeah, we know. Tick, tock. Nuts is in shock,’ says Johanna. This seems to draw Wiress in her direction and she careens into Johanna, who harshly shoves her to the beach. ‘Just stay down, will you?’
‘Lay off her,’ I snap.
Johanna narrows her brown eyes at me in hatred. ‘Lay off her?’ she hisses. She steps forward before I can react and slaps me so hard I see stars. ‘Who do you think got them out of that bleeding jungle for you? You —-’ Finnick tosses her writhing body over his shoulder and carries her out into the water and repeatedly dunks her while she screams a lot of really insulting things at me.”
- Catching Fire, Chapter 22
This is probably my favorite scene in the whole series.
Peeta’s like “whaaaaat?!”

“All right, I’ll make a deal with you. You don’t interfere with my drinking, and I’ll stay sober enough to help you.”
As much as I love Woody as Haymitch, that’s originally how i picture him in my head.
